Zhang Qing, a student majoring in literary history at a certain university, is familiar with classical masterpieces, but his thesis proposition of analyzing ancient literary history with modern concepts is not recognized by Professor Ye. In order for Professor Ye to become his graduate supervisor, Zhang Qing decided to further elaborate on the viewpoints he wanted to express through writing novels.

Throughout this process, Fan Xian experienced the ups and downs of the world and persisted in upholding justice and goodness. Through various tests and trials of his family, the world, and temples, he wrote a glorious life legend.
